Steven Ranger M34 .22 LR Bolt Action Single Shot Rifle. The Stock is in wonderful shape for such a vintage piece. I don't see anything really wrong with it. Just normal wear from a rifle over 80 years old. The gun functions perfectly. the sights are the original ones with everything there. The good news it appears there is a nice patina underneath the black enamel paint someone applied sometime in its life. It looks fine but if I was going to keep it I would gently remove the paint to get at the original finish. That is me. You can do that or leave it as is. It is a great gun to practice your gunsmith skills or add a cool gun to your collection. I liked it but it's time to go.
